The NCAA does not have the power to subpoena private citizens for their bank and phone records.

If the FBI did not get involved, the NCAA would not have had access to this information, nor would they have opened an investigation.
The FBI wasn't even interested in Wade. He was caught in the crossfire.

How can something they have LITERALLY zero proof of turn into any violation? I understand there is no presumption of innocence in NCAA proceedings, but they can't just create violations out of thin air with nothing to go off of.

He was paying FMV. Zion got a million dollar house plus 400k. Wade wasn't throwing those figures around.
Yeah the blue bloods were mad, but if you have no evidence or paper trail, at all, what do you expect the NCAA to do.
