We went to war over suspected WMD minilabs on wheels in Iraq. Never actually saw one, just blurry photos of box trucks driving around which Colin Powell promised with a pinky swear that they were real. Seemed good enough then.



We can have bio-weapons labs. We can have them doing research to counteract bio weapons being used on us. We can even make them for 'defensive' purposes. But what we CANNOT do is set up these labs in foreign, non-NATO nations which sit on the border with our primary adversary.

Ever. End of discussion.

And yet, we had 'em there.
