I never said the number that escaped was large. I simply said that those French soldiers who ended up in the Dunkirk pocket were either evacuated to England or captured by the Germans. There is nothing inaccurate about that statement.

The whole point is comparing the surrendering of WW2 France to Ukraine is stupid because a genuine interested government would’ve just moved the capital like China did against Japan like twice I think. The reason for France falling in WW2 is more in depth then them just losing to the blitzkrieg and a whole different topic.
Back to Russia, If they sent all of their troops to capture Kiev, then they could just easily relocate to Lviv and their bull army is in eastern Ukraine so why would the Russians leave them alone for a capital that can just be relocated?
