My employer here in Kentucky wanted me and 5 others to go to a conference in Nola next month. I refused, since I'm from Nola I follow current events. When they were surprised I refused, I explained the crime wave (and covid restrictions) issues were really bad. They ended up cancelling all 6 reservations.
