Dude, if you think the US does not have hypersonic missiles you really underestimate the military industrial complex. Plus....we have carriers and subs....really good subs.

In every near peer war game we've conducted for the last 20 years our carriers end up at the bottom of the ocean.
Add to that carrier operational range shrunk to 350 miles.
Carriers are obsolete in peer to near peer warfare. Every fricking study we've done on it proves it.
As for Russias ground game look up what Lt. GEN H.R McMaster says about it.
