Well, at heart Rogan is a soft hearted, raised by actual hippies, old school liberal. He's all about "being nice," which is kind of how we got here in the first place, what with the path to hell being paved with good intentions. In the end, he'll side with what he sees as "being nice" rather than a deeply held moral conviction of right and wrong.

Shapiro HAS core beliefs and doesn't give a frick about anyone disliking him...so he'd be reveling in this right now.
