This obsession with Rogan is insane at this point. Everyone wants to put him in a political camp and the show is by in large not a political show. All Joe does is long form interviews with his comedy friends, mma friends and people he finds interesting.
Bingo. I don't know how people miss this. He's just a comedian who started a podcast for fun, long before any Spotify deal.
Why does he need to take a hard stance on everything? He has always maintained that he's not there to get into arguments with guests; he wants to keep conversations going. That's how he's able to have such a variety of people on, and how he's gained so many listeners.
He doesn't fit nicely into the "lefty grifter" or "right-wing conspiracy theorist" boxes, so that's how you know this is all about power. His platform allows all sorts of opinions and ideas to breathe, and that scares the elites who control the narratives.
