I have a story about the lengths people will go through to hide the fact they lost a bunch of money.

This guy I know, who works in a plant.. This was years ago, he is actually older than me, but I was in HS when it happened.

Every day after work he would go to the bar to have a few drinks before going home. Sometimes they would play cards. One Friday.. pay day.. They decided to play cards.. This guy ended up losing his whole pay check.

This was before direct depositing or when a lot of people still got a paper check, but not wanting to tell his wife what happened, he threw out his wallet. Drivers license and everything.. chucked it in the cane fields so that he could tell his wife he lost his wallet and because he check was in there he lost that week's pay.. because he rathered tell his we he lost his wallet on accident than tell her he lost all the money playing cards.

Anyone placed any bets?

I bet mostly on football and the season is almost up, but I bet some CBB.

Yesterday on DraftKings there was a promo where you bet $5 that a basket would be scored in the Pelicans vs Nuggets game and your bet got doubled and they give you 4 free $25.00 bets. I used those four bets to bet LSU -2.5, Duke -6, Oklahoma +9.5 and North Carolina -7.5.

North Carolina and Duke covered. UNC paid $23.80 and Duke $20.83 so add the $5 that I got for the bet $5 on a bucket being scored and I have $49.63 given to me by DraftKings to bet with.

Tomorrow there is a promo that will double your money if Burrow throws a completion. The max you can bet is $25 so unless something happens to Burrow before completing his first pass, DK is giving people $25.

If you have already betted and received promo money how did you use it?
