re: Buying a vehicle: with supply chain issues, is negotiating even a thing nowadays?

Funny story I heard the other day. Someone I know went to Mercedes recently to order a new car. He finished his deal and he was shooting the shite with salesman and the guy says the week before, they sold the last G-wagon they could get their hands on for almost 100k over msrp.

I think G-wagons are ugly as fk; but thats the state of where we are in the luxury vehicle market. Probably some G that paid with cash, this was probably 2 months ago; dont know if the situation is different.
