Salvage Car Pickup

I would think any salvage yard would come by to take it to put in their inventory.

I know I've done this in the past when I was young and buying "fishing cars" on about a yearly basis. Run them until they broke and buy another one and get the old one taken away.

I would be sure to get something in writing from whoever picks up the vehicle that it was meant for salvage and not resale.

I'd not want my name on a title of a car that is out in the street being driven by some stranger who bought it at a junk yard, possibly making you liable in some way.

Here's another option. I know you're on the northshore, but in N.O. Bridge House and Grace House will pick up cars that are donated to them and you can write it off as a charitable donation.

Not sure if you have something like that going on where you live or if either of the above would go to the northshore to pick up a donated car, but it may be worth checking into.
