LG Smart Remote

For some reason, the cursor is not working on my LG smart remote. I've tried disconnecting, reconnecting, and re-pairing. I've also checked for updates. Anyone have any answers besides buying a new one?

Mine quit working a long time ago. ordered a new remote and the same thing.
