I thought he did a heck of a job this year. Auburn isn't loaded with stars on that side of the ball and still had the #5 defense in the conference. Him being out at Auburn is good news for LSU.
Mason is a top level DC w/HC experience. I'd have been happy to see him come to LSU and unhappy to see him go somewhere else - like Florida - in conference.
