Book your hotel soon. When Garth announced the concert people started making reservations.

There's plenty to eat right close to campus Like Chimes, Walk-Ons, Parrains, Mike Andersons for local seafood, boudin, gumbo, and such.

And you're only a few minutes' drive north to downtown BR. You could likely visit all three of these on that Saturday morning/lunch before the concert.

Oh and definitely don't write-off going see Mike the Tiger. His habitat is RIGHT outside the north side of Tiger Stadium. Just try to get over there around 10am-12pm b/c that's when he's most active, frickin around close to the fence waiting on lunch.

Mike The Tiger VII is one majestic motherfricker if you catch him at the right time of day.
