I know Timberland has gotten a reputation because they became part of "urban culture". But I needed a good pair of workbooks a while back and ended up getting a pair of Timberland PRO Ashlar pull-ons and they are great. Very comfortable and durable so far. Not to mention they're about half the price of Tecovas or Ariats.
