AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite Thread: A Punk in a War Edition

Major League Wrestling... a top indie here in the States that (at least at 1 time) was televised on Vice TV (you know... where Dark Side of the Ring is televised) and G's favorite soccer channel, beIN Sports... has filed an antitrust lawsuit against WWE alleging that WWE used its influence on Fox to kill an agreed streaming partnership between MLW and Tubi. The deal was originally reported on last spring/summer when it was reached before ultimately falling through, and MLW says the deal would've been "transformative" in the company's growth. MLW also alleges WWE tried to use its influence on Vice TV on stop airing MLW. WWE obviously denies it did this.
WWE may be willing to work with AEW on biographies on some of its biggest legends that are now in AEW... like Chris Jericho and Jim Ross... as WWE finally seems to lift the 'there's no wrestling outside WWE' shadow that the company likes to cast. This comes after WWE actually mentioned Mickie James is not only a wrestler in IMPACT... but is the IMPACT Knockouts Champion... when it was announced that she would be in the Royal Rumble.
WWE apparently wants to use as few NXT women as possible in the Royal Rumble... perhaps even none... meaning the women's Rumble will likely be filled out by mostly "legends".
AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite on TBS comes from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C.
After giving MJF his 1st loss in 2022 last week... thanks to giving "The Captain" Shawn Dean a GTS... CM Punk makes his 2022 debut against MJF's henchman, Wardlow. How will MJF screw either Punk and/or Wardlow in this match?
Interim AEW TNT Champion Sammy Guevara defends his interim title against "Red Death" Daniel Garcia. Will Sammy continue to interimly reign over AEW's former TV home?
In the never-ending battle of technical ability... Hikaru Shida and Serena Deeb take the "fight forever" chants too literally with another match tonight.
And in big man tries to throw little man into orbit match of the night... Powerhouse Hobbs takes on Dante Martin. Maybe Dante should've thought differently about screwing over Team Taz.
Shida and Dasha had some fun on the beach some time ago

I don't watch soccer nearly as much as I used to but I think CBS has soccer now ... maybe on Paramount+. Who saw that coming?

Tony may need to get some greasy hair so he can steal The Good Doctor away from Cole.

This hasn’t existed for well over a decade fwiw. They use to report TNA results on their website and they’ve partnered with other smaller promotions before.
