Yup.

Tell me... when have the elites of this community given two craps about the poor black people of Violet? For 100 years, no one cared about them or Violet Park #2 or the cemetary, and especially not the school which is dramatically underused while other more "white" schools are bursting at the seems.

And just like Mississippi casinos were involved in funding the no casino group in Slidell... it would not surprise me a bit if some of the SOS funding / support is coming from port interests in Mobile and Houston.
