Dear lord Absolutely, MN has 10,000 lakes, the lakers are originally from Minnesota hence the name. Anyone that says otherwise is full of shvt. If you drive on the interstate at night up there, it’s going to look like it’s raining with your lights on but it’s really the mosquitoes and your vehicle will be completely caked over with mosquito guts every night.

I visited my sister in Minnesota years ago. Had to abandon a golf game about five holes in because the mosquitoes were unbearable. A beautiful summer day, swarms of them everywhere on the course. Much worse than anything I've encountered in southern states.

I've experienced terrible mosquitoes in a lot of places, including Montana and Alaska.

Fortunately we rarely get them in Knoxville, but the flies can be fricking annoying.
