I would not recommend a weldbilt boat for a duck boat. I cant keep mine from cracking.
Thanks for the input there. I was looking at their website the other day. I want to make sure to not skimp on the boat that way if I end up wanting to eventually upgrade or change motors, the boat will last long enough for that.
I'm beginning to realize that with duck boats you can get cheaper new ones/good used ones for decent prices or keep going and all the way up to paying the amount a vehicle would cost. Like anything else in life I guess. But I'd think buy once cry once is the best motto here.
Do most of them come with a trailer packaged into the price? (assuming you either did or did not get the motor from the same dealer?). Also, besides registering it, are you required to take boaters ed as an adult in LA? I mean I would plan on it anyway but wasn't sure. Used to drive gulf boats down on the coast as a kid before Katrina ruined everything but I haven't ever driven a freshwater flat bottom boat.
