You think someone working from home making 40,000 has the same skill set/job description/experience as someone making 90,000?
Entry level people making $40k can easily get into the $80k range after 20 years of experience. People working in rural Louisiana or Arkansas or Mississippi making $40k per year may cost the same company $60k in New York, Boston or San Fran. The ranges he proposed are not out of whack for same position in different areas or with longer seniority at a company.
