In his interview, Perkins said he hadn't spoken with CBK. Translated as no need wasting time when we're not in a position to put up the "required" NIL dollars - which is undoubtedly what Perkins is looking for, according to his interview.

The interview Harold said Kelly called but he didn’t answer.
When Baker walked we lost any shot. It’s the cost of doing business but you don’t make coaching decisions based on 1 recruit.
I thought originally Kelly hadn’t reached out. But apparently he tried and Harold isn’t interested. Well we get to play him now.

If BK doesn’t like to negotiate then he should have kept his arse in south bend
best recruits ain’t going to flock to lsu just because you’re getting paid big money
i’m not sure BK understands how sec recruiting works because he’s getting dusted, for a big name coach that most fans proclaim him to be
