The problem with the Ball deal was always that we didn't get something for him despite helping Chicago acquire him yet we gave up a protected 1st for Graham with Charlotte loaded at guards. Lonzo himself isn't some player worth dwelling on. He's a good player who I feel is overpaid. Chicago is 5-0 in the last 5 games without him. I'm not saying they are better without him the way people were insinuating about Ja but I don't know if he has shown himself to be a needle mover. Would we be better with him this season? I think so but that is more a failure on the team to fill the position than it is a credit to his skills.
