When did they do this? Easy access is why Tundras have them stolen so frequently.

GM has had the cats up next to the manifolds for years as they light off faster. Not as a theft deterrent.

I'm not sure when and to what trucks they have done.

I knew Tundras and Tacomas were targeted a lot so I started researching. I found out my 2016 Third gen Tacoma didn't need an aftermarket solution because Toyota had moved it up to the manifold when they did they redesign of the Tacoma.
