for me it was because the character had the perfect setup to allow a child's imagination to run wild. cool character, little to know knowledge of the character or the Mando's - it allowed a child to create any backstory they wanted.

You can tell they're really going to follow the blue print of the Mando series with this show, which I'm good with.
Really solid first episode, I'm excited to see where the show goes from here. When done right, I love living in the Star Wars world.
