I built a frame for a porch swing in the yard several years ago.
4x4 posts in concrete worked fine. I used lag screws to connect a pair of 2x6s on each side of the post that ran from post to post. Then used a 4x4 block inside the pair of 2x6s to hang the swing from.
This setup worked for years. But our weight is average so that may be need to be considered
