So we can haz dark mode?

I feel like I remember dark mode being possible /enabled in some browsers on mobile for a brief minute but … alas not to continue.
What’s the word on having that as a permanent feature great and powerful admins??

if there's one thing Chicken and his lackies hate, it's more work and development. i'm really surprised he broke out the SECRant as it's own website many years ago.

Always fun to see those that have been here for 10 years bitch and moan about the site.
And, for the record, I would love to have a dark mode feature, so get your facts straight when you start throwing people under a bus.

I don’t want to argue on the off-chance to be banned, but to be fair about it, there hasn’t been much innovation on the site since I’ve been a member. And don’t mistake that as me not enjoying being here. I love it. The banter of going back and forth with other fans. Discussing politics, movies, and video games. It offers a lot. But it also lacks a lot.
- Dark mode
- Embedment’s (currently it’s images only. Could include tweets)
- DMs (a possible con is could bog server space / a fix could be auto-delete them after 3 months)
Those are just a few items. I’m sure I could name off some more, but the above items are pretty standard features nowadays.
May I ask, if you’re a dev for the site and you want a dark mode, what’s the hold up on creating one?

As far as I know, there’s not a single admin that is a developer here, so don’t mistake us for being the folks that can actually do what you’re talking about.
As admins, we do our best to make sure what few rules we have are being followed.

If you don't have a dark mode why not just decrease brightness?
