If Myles Brennan doesn’t come back I think LSU needs to get in the portal and nab this dude. He was a legit Heisman candidate going into the season. However similar to LSU, USC’s season somewhat derailed after they fired their coach so I don’t fault him as much for taking a step back this year. 2 years of eligibility left if we need it. I think he could be a solid starter in the SEC and would give us some much needed experience in the QB room.

Slovis is a much better QB than Rattler and he is also better than Brennan.

I'd rather Myles, if there's a chance he'll reconsider. If not, Kedon is certainly worth a look. I've watched the majority of USC games these last 3 years.
Observations:
1. He's accurate.
2. Has really nice touch.
3. Makes quick decisions (no Max issue here).
4. He will lock in on receiver, leading to picks.
5. Not a runner.
6. Has decent pocket presence and can move the pocket.
7. Doesn't have the strongest of arms.
He was awesome as a freshman. I thought he was going to be it after that. But USC has been a dumpster fire. Maybe a change of environment and better coaching would get him back on track. I'd talk to him.

If Brennan isn't back-Kelly should go after him. He played against ND and Kelley is familiar with him-pretty solid QB

Yeah I think he's the best QB in the portal for LSU. Rattler is going to be a cancer wherever he goes because of his ego. We've seen Calzada and Nix in the SEC and while they were fine I'd prefer the potential upside from someone else. It's Slovis with Gabriel as a close second for me.
