Probably not.
It depends upon whether or not the first lady Captain Situation cursed at was the old guy’s wife. He came from that direction, so it’s not necessarily a bad assumption. As a man, you have to take up for your wife.
If he was just a bystander, he’d have done better just staying out of it.
