The casino that was actually located in the East at Lakefront airport folded easily forever ago but for some reason you are extremely butt hurt over the citizens of a parish you don’t reside in deciding what’s best for them.
I can only understand your frustration in our decision if you were going to make money off of the deal which is the only thing that makes sense because your explanation of it passing leading to economic development in the east is incredibly dumb.

That one didn’t fold. They closed because of Hurricane Katrina and damage associated with that event. They did not want to reopen there due to economic uncertainty and waited 2 years to get St. Mary Parish voters to approve gambling and then the Amelia Belle was born.
