since grade schools aren't really doing this well on their own, LSU is developing their curriculum.

LSU is doubling the capacity of its BRBytes program, which aims to boost computer science in K-12 schools.

The program will expand to elementary schools, reaching an additional 3,000 students in the East Baton Rouge Parish school system by next summer, LSU announced today. The program plans to focus on underserved schools initially.

Glad we are doing SOMETHING to at least try to prep students for these types of careers.

It’s hard to develop a curriculum like computer science when you know about the subject. I can’t imagine a bunch of public school teachers trying to develop something like that. Good on LSU. Creating future developers to be recruited out of state.

Ironically enough, this is probably the only way to get phishing attacks to lessen.

The boomas can't resist a good deal.
