Had Covid January 20th. Taste came back at 8 months. Smell is not yet 100%. I can discern certain smells but some things have the weirdest scent I have ever experienced. I actually started a thread on this a few weeks ago. Piss, shite, farts, coffee, salad dressings with vinegar, barbecue sauce, hand sanitizer, gumbo, peanut butter, and many other things smell like a combination of coffee, soured red wine, and a metallic accent that I can’t describe. All of those items literally smell exactly the same. I am so fricking pissed beyond belief because I don’t think I will ever be right again. One of my greatest qualities used to be my sense of smell. It has saved my life more than once where an ordinary person probably would have died. I once smelled a buck in the woods before I actually saw him. frick China, frick Covid, and frick Joe Biden.
