The only parts of South Louisiana geographically that have a southern twang/drawl is LC and the I-12 corridor. The LC is mainly due to industry bringing in outsiders mostly from East Texas. I-12 is as Deep South southern as Lower Alabama or Mississippi.
All that said, BK did not fake some accent. These people are fricking reaching for anything to talk shite about with Coach Kelly.
