Don’t confuse having a much easier road every year through the weak SEC East as being successful. The East has been in various stages of suck for a decade or more.

More wins.
More stable program.
Georgia has been to the East what Clemson has been to the ACC. Though the conferences are weak, they have taken care of business (as a whole). You play who you play. Except for 2016 & 2019, Kirby Smart @ UGA have had more success than LSU. You are judged by wins, losses, Championships, and program stability. THOUGH UGA has not win a Natty in the Smart era, they have also not had records as bad as LSU has in the last two seasons since 2010. Success is success.
