I listened to the outdoor board...

And I am assembling my own ar-15. I'm going more for accuracy than tactical, as I don't see myself trying to solve any hostage situations unless varmiints/pigs/deer count as hostage situations...
I am getting a stag lower, dd parts kit, bushmaster 6 position stock, bushmaster predator upper, and topping it off with a 3-12 m223 nikon mount and scope.
I am also getting a weaver tool kit that should have all the pieces necessary to assemble the rifle and mount the scope.
Now I guess I should pick out some magazines to use, but I am leaving that for another day.
Now, according to people on this board, it should take me only a couple of hours to assemble this rifle, and I hope they are correct.
Should I get a bipod? I would think it would primarily be used for hunting and target shooting. Since I am in texas, I don't think there is much of a limit on magazine size.
What did I do wrong?

What is wrong with the judge? Seems like a simple basic to use home defense weapon for people who don't know how to use guns.

If you are going more for accuracy, get a 2 stage trigger. RRA, geiselle, jewell, timney, etc etc.
I use a bipod, I dont like carrying bags around to shoot off of.
For magazines Id use 20rd pmags, for me 30rd mags were to big and just got in the way.

Nothing...
It's just the "stock" reply to a "What weapon to buy / is this the right weapon" question on the OD Board.
I have four of them.....
they are just disguised as a 410, 20, 16 and 12 gauge Remmington 870's
