Now do you understand why both sides hated Trump? He wasn't beholding to the powers that be. He wasn't interested in scratching backs or getting his scratched. He didn't need it. He wasn't in politics for a career.
The point is, if you don't understand the hate now. You are probably too stupid to be in a political forum. You are definitely too stupid to vote.

Yet Trump endorsed McCarthy...not exactly one of Trumps strong suits is it? Being a good judge of character and all. It seems as if it could be on purpose.
