This was peak John Skipper virtue signal espn.
That game was a Monday night double header and this was the shite game with 2 bad west coast teams.
Beth Mowins was the play by play and Rex Ryan was the color guy. And Dipp was brought in by coke-head Skipper to be the sideline reporter because 'diversity!!'
Meanehile, it's probably the worst broadcast in the history of espn MNF, and this is the same network that employed Jason Witten and Booger on a Crain and thought, 'HEY, HERE'S A AGOOD IDEA! It's actually incredible how terrible that company is at broadcasting sports

Poor guy gets his shot at 15 minutes of fame, horrendously botches the whole thing, and instantly becomes an internet meme. Talk about the worst case scenario. I had some sympathy until he (likely on direction from ESPN PR) came out and tried to garner sympathy by citing his "immigrant upbringing" and English as a second language. Maybe people whose job requires speaking clearly and concisely should be able to speak English?
