I've seen some posts where some people feel that some coaches wouldn't take a position for whatever reason citing that the coach would feel slighted or it would be a slap in the face. IMO if your making what LSU is paying, leave your ego at the door and coach your arse off. Period. It's your job so just do it. FWIW...I want bebe here to lite that fire.

This should start with the head coach. Everyone else is following his lead.

seriously. How many of you don't think about moving up in your jobs. To say that you are making 400k enjoy it, cuts at the very heart of the "competitive mindset."

6 years as a DL coach, you have to start wondering what's next. It isn't always an ego trip, it could simply be self respect.
There isn't a day that goes by, in my life, that I don't think about my next career move.

Because the head coach shouldn't have any ego, be assertive, be confident in his abilities, and/or lead.

You want some shy retiring little whimp with no confidence, no desire to lead and who lets every one run all over him. You want YOU?

The coach can do whatever he wants when he is winning. With this shite show that CLM is putting on he needs to lose his ego quick, fast, and in a hurry
