The Advocate - Jenkins is LSU’s Dumledore. Jerry Stovall hired him. Bill Arnsparger and Mike Archer kept him. Nick Saban brought him back in 2000 for a two-year stint after Jenkins retired from Auburn in 1998. When Ed Orgeron became interim head coach in 2016, he pleaded with Jenkins to come out again and take Orgerons place as defensive line coach. Now Jenkins, the SEC defensive line whisperer will try to wave his magic wand and help LSU.
TTT - Kelly needs to hire an entire staff of “Whispers” for the defensive coaches.

I agree but they would have to hire me, then fire me first.

The defensive line is the biggest problem we have. Why? It’s the most talented group we’ve had in years. We are getting very little pressure on any QB from them, we are not holding the lanes in run defense, and are definitely not getting off and taking the game to the other teams O-line. The DBs are the most negatively effected by this. The strength of the team is now the weakest link. THAT can be fixed with coaching. It won’t happen overnight because it didn’t get this way overnight.

Well two "whispers" you suggested were high school football coaches. So I'm just going to safely assume you are a clueless jackass.

Just tell them you used to correct engineers. And you also played poker with LSU Coach Penn. They will hire you on the spot.

Is it, though?
On paper, sure

100% agree. LSU has leaks everywhere on defense. Impossible to immediately address them all. So address the main source first. Address the one leak, the Dline, that can lessen some of your leaks in the secondary. It’s the same approach I use to fixing numerous leaks after a lightning strike or freeze on a business or home. Address the one leak that will make the most difference first to make the place habitable. LSU football can’t operate successfully with this sort of leakage on defense.
