What happens to Bowl games?

If the mega conferences do come to be, Pac 10 and Big 10 and added SEC, what happens to all the second tier bowl games? If the Big 12 and possibly Big East eventually cumble, do you see a reduction in the bowl games?

I mean the Sunbelt should not have more than the two teams they already have in bowls and the WAC is deverely diminsihed at this point. If a raid is made on some of the other MWC and CUSA teams, their value diminishes as well. Would we see something like 6 Big 10/Pac 10 bowl games?
