In my opinion, neither is close to being worthy of an SEC invite. I see USF thrown around quite a bit on this board. What makes them so much more of an attractive school than UCF? UCF just opened a new on campus stadium. They are doing pretty well on the football field, coming off a bowl win against and SEC opponent, albeit UGA. Popoulation of Orlando compared to Tampa is pretty much a wash I would think, without looking up the numbers. Wouldn't Orlando be a much more attractive destination for opposing fans the visit than Tampa? Oh yeah, MJ's son plays ball at UCF.

Just wondering how the folks on this board think these two compare.

Really? I think I said that. Not sure if you are paying attention, but other conferences are extending invites as well. This isn't the SEC Expansion board.

USF has been ranked in the top 5 within the last 3 years and is currently ranked in the top 25. I think they are maybe just a little better than you give them credit for.
