Syracuse( ACC)
Louisville
Marquette
Georgetown
Connecticut( trying to go ACC)
West Virginia( SEC)
Pittsburgh( ACC)
Villanova
St. John's
Seton Hall
Notre Dame( ?,, BIG 10,indpendent)
DePaul
Cincinnati
Providence
Rutgers
South Florida
leaving 11 basketball and 4 football schools if those leave
what make the MOST sense is for
Mizzou
(other options)
SEC-16
Pac 16
Kansas
Kansas State
and TCU is Big East bound ( for now)
8 football
15 basketball
which leaves you with a pretty damn strong Basketball Conference, and a decent football conference
find one more basketball only school(if ND leaves)( should be easy enough) and you have two 8 team division for b'ball
other option is V'nove to move up but that does nothing for them as a footall conference
Mizzou
Kansas
Louiville
Cincy
K-state
Rutgers
South Florida
TCU
can make an argument to maintain BCS status?
thoughts?
I dont see ND joining this as a football team
more likely in ND joins a conference they go BIG10/12
leaving Baylor and Iowa State to join C-USA
this is assuming UT,Tech,OU,OSU join PAC-16 ( not a given)
BYU and BOise get fricked,, but, someones got to lose

Whoever gets leftover is going to look like the MWC. They may have a good team every few years but for the most part they were not important and will not be important.
