if it really is all about academics, then the SEC > the Big 12 based off of rankings when you compare the two,...so UT would actually be moving up. They're full of bs with this argument IMO. Theyre scared they wont be able to have control anymore. There's too many big egos in the SEC to let them do that. I don't think the SEC wants Texas. Theyre a huge national brand, but theyre a massive risk that comes with a lot of baggage. No thanks.....

If I hear one more thing about Texas and academics, my head will explode. You would think they were Harvard, MIT, and Williams rapped into one the way they talk about their school instead of being a very good public school which they are.

FYI no one has LHN. OH wait one cable company that I never heard of has it. Its a joke here in texas. No one wants to pay for the LHN.Good luck to them on that. They couldnt even get pay perview for the rice game because it was on LHN and so no one could watch it since only one cable company no one heard of had it.Way to piss off your base texas. I thoroughly enjoy telling long horns they are not good enough for the SEC.I hope texas eats shite on this whole deal when it spins out of thier control.
