at least for the legal costs associated with research and preparation for their threatened lawsuit. maybe missouri should sue them too contending they would have already gone to the sec if not for ken starr's lawsuit threat. hell, the big east may actually have a case if the reports are accurate; the big 12 INVITED TCU. whereas, they made the aggies jump through hoops by leaving the big 12 and then applying for the sec. that left the aggies out on a pretty big limb and would have been a disaster if the sec would not have accepted them. just sayin'

Help me out here. Did Baylor actually threaten anyone? Or did they simply refuse to sign a waiver indicating they wouldn't sue? Either way, you cannot sue for the costs associated with research for a potential lawsuit.

ok, maybe it was just their fans advocating and threatening a lawsuit. i really am not sure and made assumptions based on the scumbag ken starr being their president. my bad.

Ken Starr is one of the most brilliant legal minds of our time. If you're hung up on the Clinton investigation still, you should get over it. Read about his history and legal success sometime, it's kind of amazing.
