When will they learn? Texas is a cancer in your conference. I can't believe all these schools are gonna stay after everything that has happened between them. This is a conference built on nothing and doomed to fail.

If you're Baylor, Texas Tech, Kansas, Missouri, or Iowa State, you really have no other option. For that matter, OU and OSU had no other option either. They married their fates to UT from the start. Baylor is the happiest of all. I'm sure the prayer chain was working overtime on this one. Of all the schools involved, only Texas and Texas A&M ever had any real options to do something else.

what choice do schools like iowa state, kansas, ksu, and mizzou have? they have to give texas exactly what they want or their athletic departments are fricked. OU and A&M are pussies though. they have the clout and resources to not be dicked around by texas, but they let it be done anyway. have fun in the new SWC boys.

So what you're saying is that if Oklahoma approached the SEC to join, they didn't have an option? The only reason Oklahoma didn't have an option is because they didn't want one....either that or they didn't notice because they were too busy suckin Texas right nut while aTm was suckin the left...

Keep the SEC as is after all of this...it's still the strongest conference by a landslide.

On a serious note, I'll bet money that's exactly what they were doing. Baylor will consider the reprieve divine intervention.

I doubt it takes 10 years, but what better option did most of those schools have right now. I'm sure they will consider their options for the future closely and understand their present reality.
