UT-San Antonio(starting program, 4th largest school in Texas, will play in Alamodome, Larry Coker as coach)
Texas State- going to FBS too, could be option
That's a good idea. I was thinking Tech should try to team up with the Big XII leftovers + a few of those schools:

Kansas
Kansas State
Iowa State
Rice
Houston
SMU
That would be a nice, balanced 8 team conference.
