Morgantown is farther north and substantially farther away from Baton Rouge, Fayetteville, College Station, Mississippi, and Alabama than Cincinnati.

I think they have a fine program but man what a tough trip.

Well, UK is basically in Cincinatti. Consider Columbia, MO from Gainsville.

I drove through there on the way to PSU week before last.

Scenic drive but damn it's a long way.

UK is almost 2 hours from Cinci...

Also UK is 5.5 hours from Morgantown so it's a far trip. That's about the same distance from UK to UGA.

and the thought of a SEC baseball team having to travel to Morgantown, just to play a three game series with each game called by the 3rd inning for the 10 run mercy rule, and then a blizzard closes the Pittsburgh airport and you're stuck there for a week.

Just because they get a lot less snow doesn't necessarily mean they're less likely to have a "blizzard".

Morgantown is almost as far north as the southern Iowa state line. It's farther north than Lexington. Besides I doubt Arkansas has ever had a blizzard. KC had never had one until year before last.

It's 6 hours north of Lexington. I don't think people realize it's that far.
