Do they stay in the week 12 to try and save it? I think this might be their one and only shot at coming to the SEC. What are your thoughts?

they're betting that if the 16 team superconferences are inevitable, that they can finagle one of the Big 10's 4 expansion spots. and they may have been given some assurances from the Big 10 during the past few weeks. the Big 10 has been very quiet, but I'm sure they were watching very carefully to make sure none of their potential targets made a rash decision.

As I understand it, their SEC invite was conditional on "nothing changing" (i.e. Texas and OU going Pac 12).

Mizzou has neither received an informal or formal offer by the SEC.

Mizzou would rather stay in Big 12 or move to Big 10 if necessary. Moving to the SEC is not what they would choose to do.
