Mizzou to SEC EAST?

I've posted this in other places, but thought I'd see what everyone over here thought, regarding Mizzou's possible addition to the SEC.
Under the scenerio everyone brings up the most, which is moving Auburn east, and putting Mizzou in their place, here is what travel looks like from Columbia, MO:
Fayetteville, AR 310 miles
Oxford, MS 480 miles
Starkville, MS 575 miles
Tuscaloosa, AL 620 miles
Baton Rouge, LA 770 miles
College Station, TX 780 miles
Average travel distance = 589 miles
If you put Mizzou in the SEC EAST and leave Auburn in the West, you've got:
Nashville, TN 430
Lexington, KY 460
Knoxville, TN 610
Athens, GA 740
Columbia, SC 870
Gainsville, FL 1000
AVERAGE = 685 Miles.
Do this, and A&M - Mizzou is the new cross-conference game every season, since were former Big 12 opponents and new SEC members. No traditional rivalries are interrupted at all. No divisions are re-aligned. The only cost is an additional 96 miles/trip for Mizzou...which is a complete wash if you're talking about flying. Not to mention, 2 of the 3 closest drives from Columbia are to SEC East towns (Nashville and Lexington).
SEC fans for the most part seem on board with our addition (outside of the occasional smart arse comment which we all expect
) , and the main complaint seems to be stepping on the toes of traditional rivalries in the SEC. Well, my scenario leaves every single one of them alone.

First Aggie post I've ever agreed with
Who Cares if Mizzou has to travel further, they are the new team and they are lucky to even have a shot at getting into this league
They'll go where we put them and be thankful for the opportunity

Put them in the West, move AU to the east.
Mizzou can have UT as their annual game.

Hey, I want an ACC team like VT, UNC, FSU, etc.....but the momentum lately has been for Mizzou as #14. I'll be as happy as anyone if they don't get the spot.

-----------
um, no
Tennessee is our Annual Game
How about this
Move Bama to the East, and Mizzou can have Georgia as their annual game
oh you dont like having to give up the Aub/Uga Game? Well we dont want to have to give up Bama / TN

East would be the best solution for the remaining teams.

i know you're talking to me, but for future reference click 'reply' in the post you're actually replying to. If you click reply to the most recent post, it just confuses folks.
Giving you shite is the SECRantard way.
