It comfortably fits 86-87,000. This weekend, I believe attendance was 87,000 and people were by no means jam packed together. It's not quite 90 but close, and can obviously get there if they want to. I think the point of the original statement was that our stadium and game atmosphere will not be out of place in the SEC in terms of intensity.

Yup, we were a tad below 87k. I expect around the same or higher for the top 10 matchup against OSU, ranked Mizzou team, Baylor game, and that Texas game will probably break the attendance record set last year. Kyle Field might not be a 100,000 capacity stadium like quite a few places in the SEC, but the atmosphere is there. We make a lot of noise. Official capacity might drop a bit since they are building club suites and renovating the stadium after this season.
