I am sure ATM will be worried about the PR hit 5 years down the line when they are making a lot more than they made in the B12 and playing LSU on CBS in the opening game of the season in front of the entire country. All the while, no one outside the state of Texas will give a shite how this conference stuff went down. I mean, do you really think people outside the Big East are mad at Boston College and VT for all but destroying that conference?

The general public though, as said before, know that it is all Texas and their doing.
Do you really think the general public gives a shite about two schools in TX having a fight over football?

Here is a post from a UConn board, in case anyone questions how this is all viewed elsewhere:

That's a good possibility. By now it is clear that Brown is handling PR for Texas. I guess this means the SEC thing is real. Now, Texas can once again pretend they are working to keep the league together and it is someone else wearing the black hat. Maybe Tom Osbourne can lend his to the Aggies.

It's not that the general public cares about Texas, it's that Texas cares about the general public. None of it really matters but Texas is going to get their feelings hurt because they will be the bad guy in the situation. They keep trying to do everything they can to blame it on anyone but them.

The only ones that will be bitching, complaining and blaming is Texas...because most people know what Texas is all about.
Were Nebraska and Colorado worried about PR hits? NO! Neither should aTm.
and quite frankly...if you were invited to two parties on the same night, one where you knew ahead of time that you would be treated as a janitor or a party to the east where all the guests WANTED you there....where would you go? The time as being treated like a janitor at a party is long over....
WELCOME TO THE SEC, aTm!

Gosh, this really is like a real divorce. Texas is trying so hard to blame this on the Aggies.
