Texas fears that if they or A&M join the SEC they would no longer have a monopoly on top Texas talent. That's why they don't join.

Texas fears that if they or A&M join the SEC they would no longer have a monopoly on top Texas talent. That's why they don't join.
texas wont come to the SEC b/c they want to be the big bully, dictating the terms, and getting their way. if they come to the SEC, they dont get a bigger slice of the pie( b/c their texas), they wont have the glamour program the conference needs. i dont think they are truely afraid of the SEC competition on the field, its their ego off that sends them west towards the pac29

maybe, but if they wanted a tougher schedule they would schedule differently ooc last year and this year for example
